QuickBooks Tips

Backing up your file:

• How to back up your QuickBooks company file
• Frequency of backups - We recommend that you make a backup at least weekly and rotate the backups.  If you find you have a corrupted Quickbooks file, it may be a part of your last backup before you discovered it.  If you make frequent backups and rotate them (for example - backup #1 is on Monday, backup #2 is on Wednesday, backup #3 is on Friday), you will reduce your chances that one of your backups was with corrupted data as well.

• Restoring a file using QuickBooks version 99
• Restoring a file using QuickBooks version 2002 or later.
